We carry four types of reflective tapes for Gates, Fences, Bollards and Trailers. We also carry aluminum backed reflective object markers for marking wooden gates and other surfaces where self adhesive tape is not viable. To see more pictures of our tapes and products CLICK HERE.

Our first type of tape is our "Flexible Engineer Grade or Type I Tape". This is the most common reflective tape. It reflects at about 75 candlepower for the white and is similar to what you would see on a speed limit sign or a car tag. This material is flexible and will also stretch which means it is great for any application and especially those applications that require the tape to conform to irregular surfaces. We have this in 8 colors. If you are looking for "BLACK" reflective gate tape then this is the grade that you will want. We also carry a striped barricade tape in this grade

Our second type of tape is called "High Intensity or Type III Reflective Tape". It reflects at about 250 candlepower for the white. It is flexible but will not stretch. It works great on flat surfaces and on bollards or poles. You would typically see this material on traffic cones and road barrels. It is used in applications where traffic is approaching the gate at a medium speed and needs to see the gate sooner. We have this tape in 6 colors. We also carry a striped barricade tape in this grade.

Our third type of tape is called "Prismatic or Type V Reflective Tape". With the exception of SOLAS, this is the brightest class of tape and is commonly seen on Tractor Trailer Rigs and School Buses. It reflects at 600-700 candlepower for the white. It is flexible but will not stretch. It works great on flat surfaces and on bollards or poles. This type of tape is used where traffic is approaching at high speeds and needs to see the tape from greater distances. We carry this tape in 6 colors. .

Our last type of tape is called "SOLAS or Type IX Reflective Tape". It is very similar to the Prismatic Tape but is a little brighter and has a more aggressive adhesive. It is primarily used for marine applications but is also very popular for on land applications. It is a coast guard approved tape and has the official logo that designates it as SOLAS tape. It is available only in white/silver. It is great for applications where the surface is flat or around bollards and poles. Also for applications where better adhesion is desired.

For Wooden Gates we carry 4 x 4, 4 x 8 and 6 x 12 Object Markers that consist of an aluminum backing with mounting holes covered with a prismatic reflective tape. We also carry plastic 3.25" round reflectors. They are great for applications where tape is not practical.

For marking the ground around your gate we carry a full line of Stimsonite C88 Pavement Markers. We also carry pavement marking tape in a foil based semi permanent grade and a preformed thermoplastic permanent grade.
